Interactive Sound Sculpture at Exeter Library explored in relation to Dementia, Mental Health and Communication

BellHouse will be installed in Exeter Central Library from the 6th-28th of October. During that time you are invited to view or be involved in a participatory event exploring Dementia, Mental Health and communication.

Bellhouse

BellHouse is a playful, interactive sound sculpture which translates movement and visual data into the sounds of 34 ceramic bells in an open-sided house structure.

Combining craft and technology, the ceramic bells are operated by robotic beaters and motion capture software developed by the Met Office Informatics Lab.
