The REACH projects in Bristol, Devon, Dorset and Somerset have involved 18 health, arts and community organisations in partnership working to deliver on key public health priorities. This event will be an opportunity to learn about some of the challenges and achievements in areas such as engaging hard to reach participants, working with BME communities, older people, mental health, and healthy living. REACH has been evaluated by Step Ahead Research and they will be talking about their findings on the effectiveness of arts and health partnerships as a means to deliver arts and health projects.
The key note speaker is Alison Ryan – Non-Executive at NHS South West and CEO of the Weldmar Hospices (Dorset)
Please note that due to an unavoidable cirumstances Liz Redfern, Director of Patient Care & Nursing at NHS South West is unable to speak at the event as originally advertised.
