The successful applicant will provide research skills and expertise for a research project funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund involving young offenders in south west England. This will mean carrying out quantitative and qualitative research in youth justice settings, in collaboration with a music charity that will be running a creative music education programme with participants.

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the music charity, youth justice gatekeepers and significantly contribute to the research output.
